Located in the historic district of St. Germain des Près, the Molin Corvo Gallery was founded in 2013 by Roberta Molin Corvo. Passionate about discovering and supporting young contemporary artists, Roberta Molin Corvo also represents artists with more established careers.
The gallery offers a rich program of on-site and off-site exhibitions, and one of its particularities is to present exhibitions often accompanied by a project seeking funding, in the form of text and video, developed by the artist himself.
The Molin Corvo Gallery is developing its network on the international contemporary art scene.

Back in the Island
Back in the Island is a short film exploring the creative journey of artist Amanda Valle as she returns home to
the Dominican Republic. After an emotionally draining time, Amanda seeks solace in the local culture by
immersing herself in the colors and textures that were once so familiar. A journey of self-discovery, the short
film has become the main source of inspiration for the artist's new series of twelve paintings.
"I had imagined for some time what it would be like to return home after living abroad, the amazing
landscapes, the cultural confrontation, the emotional pull and the heightened sense of belonging.
I came back aware of the change in scenery, knowing that the living environment was getting old, but with
a burning need to discover the invariable spirit of our culture.
With these paintings I strive to bring to life the unnoticed feelings behind everyday circumstances, using
color, shape and texture to reframe those lost sensations that thunder in the shadows.
Return to the Island is a celebration of the unaltered energy that follows every experience. It's about
exploring inner instincts, encouraging the search for deeper connections between our emotional state and
how we capture the world." Amanda Valle
